but fate had other plans for me. Somehow, I found myself enrolled in a chef school and it turned out to be a life-changing decision. I graduated in 2006, already having spent a couple of summers in a restaurant honing my skills. My first job was at a cozy wine restaurant in a nearby village, and after a year and a half, I had enough savings to pursue my dream of living in Barcelona.
filled with countless memorable experiences, I returned to Italy and spent five years working at two hotels by the picturesque Como Lake, with a summer season stint in the South of France. Then, I traveled to Australia working and exploring for two years in Canberra and Byron Bay, before settling in New Zealand for six years, with a few years in Wanaka before moving permanently to Tauranga.
I realised I wanted to work for myself and share my love for cooking. That's when I came up with the idea of teaching some of my all-time favourite Italian dishes, including lasagne, gnocchi, risotto, tiramisu and some chef's tips and tricks to make your life in the kitchen a little easier.
